Farooq gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2009, and entered specialised training in orthodontics in 2012 at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. He continued his training as post CCST at the Royal London Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital from 2015-2017.
He now works as an orthodontic consultant at Guys’ & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Northwick Park Hospital.. His special interest include combining orthodontics with restorative dentistry and orthognathic patient treatment. He also engages in teaching and training with lectures to undergraduate and postgraduates.
Farooq is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
