AO CMF Course—Orthognathic Management of Facial Deformities

Goal of the event

This 2-day F2F course is delivered through a combination of lectures, small group discussions, and hands-on practical exercises and skills stations (including facial analysis and planning) with pre-course activities (6-8 hours over 4 weeks) before the F2F phase.

This course provides a standard introduction to the principles and core concepts in orthognathic surgery for dental and skeletal deformity, that can be applied in the local healthcare system based on patient needs and expectations and a multidisciplinary approach. It covers the decision making, planning, and core treatment processes as well as complication avoidance.

Target participants

Surgeons and Orthodontists who are developing their practice in the field of orthognathic surgery (residents and qualified surgeons)
