Mrs Charlotte Dugdale completed a degree and Master’s in Chemistry in 2002 and went on to study dentistry at the University of Manchester in 2003. After several years of dental foundation training, she went on to specialise in Orthodontics, gaining a distinction in her MSc (Clinical Orthodontics) and she was awarded the Alan Hilton Prize for her orthodontic research. Mrs Dugdale completed her consultant training in and around the North West of England.
She currently works as a Consultant Orthodontist at Royal Blackburn Hospital and as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester, where she teaches, trains and supervises UK and overseas orthodontic trainees. She also works in a private orthodontic practice in Cheshire. Dr Dugdale examines for the University and Royal College of Surgeons England and she is an elected member of the British Orthodontic Society Consultant Orthodontic Group.
