Jon completed his training at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2000 and has worked as a specialist in a busy mixed NHS and private orthodontic practice in Exeter since then. He is past Chair of the Devon orthodontic MCN and the Exeter Section of the BDA and works with five other orthodontic colleagues.

Commenting on his new role Jon said “I am honoured to take up the role of Chair of OSG and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Richard Jones who has worked tirelessly for the BOS in a number of roles over many years. His encyclopaedic knowledge, intellect and sense of fun have made him an outstanding leader and he will be a very hard act to follow, I am delighted to say that he has promised to stay involved for the for the time being.”

Jon has experience of NHS procurement, mentoring and has delivered a number of lectures.

“The OSG is a great committee with a wonderful team. I look forward to working together to represent the interest of orthodontic specialists in the BOS”.
