The British Orthodontic Society is saddened to report the death of Sharon Orton Gibbs in a cycling accident on 20 June 2025. Sharon was Consultant Orthodontist at St Helier Hospital, London, as well as running a private specialist practice.  She was a member of the BOS Archive and Museum Committee from 2022 to 2024. We extend condolences to her husband Chris and the family. The celebration of Sharon’s life will be on Monday 4th August at 11.30 in St Mary’s Church, Long Ditton (https://lodge.afuneralnotice.com/n/f9a9fa20).
