Faiza Lewis

Faiza Lewis is a Specialist Orthodontist and Partner at Ewell Orthodontics in Surrey, where she has practised since 2002. She became co-owner of the practice in 2012 and successfully led its transition from an NHS-based service to a fully private practice in 2019, bringing with her extensive experience in financial management, contract oversight and strategic planning.

Faiza has worked across hospital, NHS and private settings, including Guy’s and St Thomas’s hospital, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and set up her own contract within a dental practice in Buckinghamshire.

Over more than two decades, she has managed NHS contracts, delivered consistent KPI performance, overseen complex case treatment and built high-performing clinical and administrative teams and been proud to have trained two therapists, one of who was on the first ever therapy course in Leeds.

Her professional qualifications include BDS (University of Birmingham) FDSRCS and MOrth (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh), MSc (University of London).

She is committed to high standards of governance, financial scrutiny and organisational efficiency.

As Treasurer of the British Orthodontic Society, Faiza brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to financial oversight, with a focus on transparency, accountability and long-term sustainability for the Society and its members.
