Education Committee: Committee Member and Chair the OT national training day
Qualified in Dentistry from Leeds University Dental School. After various general practice and hospital posts, including a (very enjoyable) spell with the Flying Doctor service in Australia entered into specialist Orthodontic training. Completed specialist training in Orthodontics at Liverpool University Dental Hospital & I began a Consultant Orthodontist post at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital. Also work in private specialist orthodontic practice at Northenden House Orthodontics. Recently been a BOS trustee and the Chair of British Orthodontic Conference and chaired conferences in Glasgow 2019 and Manchester 2021. Rep on the Consultant Orthodontic Group committee.
Supervised MSc dissertations and published nationally and internationally. Examiner for the M.Orth examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and previously the ISFE. Outside of Orthodontics try to play squash (poorly!) and cycle (slowly!).
