David Slattery

Having formally retired from my full time Consultant post at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals in July 2021, I am now continuing just two days a week on the retire and return scheme. I graduated from Manchester University, then trained at the Eastman and as a Senior Registrar at Kingston and Roehampton Hospitals before taking up my appointment in East Berkshire back in 1989. Throughout this time I was involved in the training of Specialty Registrars and have chaired our Regional Specialty Training Committee and RITA/ARCP panel. I have also had the honour of being both a Regional and Specialty Advisor at the RCS England, as well as serving a term on the CCHDS at the BDA. More recently I have been a COG representative on the National Working Group for Orthodontic Recruitment.
