Current Remit for the Committee (2016-2017)
The Education Committee focuses on the delivery of education for specialists, dentists and dental care professionals in orthodontics through delivery of courses, the BOS virtual learning environment (VLE) and delivery of CPD.
The BOS VLE delivers modules for orthodontic trainees on UK training programmes and those undertaking post-CCST training and CPD for the whole dental team. We are also working with the nurses and therapists to plan CPD of relevance to their groups.
A recent collaboration between the British Orthodontic Society and ProdentalCPD also allows dental members to access core CPD online free of charge as a member benefit.
