UK orthodontics has an eventful and varied history including the development of new techniques, the invention of innovative pieces of equipment and advances in orthodontic provision and education. The museum is starting a new project to pull together a list of 100 objects to illustrate the most significant developments in the history of UK orthodontics. The list will be based on the museum’s collection but further ideas or contributions are welcome. Once finalised, the objects will form the basis of a series of articles about the significant contribution UK orthodontics has made.
If you have any suggestions of appliances, techniques, reports, photographs or a piece of equipment which you feel should be included in this project, please email the museum curator on email@example.com.
